Aims
AICA was formed on 9th July 1976 to represent those manufacturers who, at different activity levels, are engaged in the production of plants and equipment for maintenance, repair, servicing and overhaul of means of transportation.
The main aims of the Association are:
- Gather domestic manufacturers of plants and equipment for auto repair shops, auto electricians, body repairers, service stations, tyre specialists, engine reconditioners and specialized centers for servicing means of transport into a single organization representing and protecting the professional interests of the industry in the technical, informative, economic and promotional sector.
- Represent its members in recognition and appreciation of their professional activities with public authorities, private enterprises and organizations in Italy and abroad.
- Undertake projects aimed at coordinating and facilitating the activities of the represented industry and promoting cooperation among its members for a better structured marketplace.
- Pursue category qualification by promoting regular technology updates.
- Conduct and develop technical surveys, market research and any other useful activity that may be of direct or indirect help to the industry, both at national and international level.
- Promote and follow each and every activity, including trade exhibitions, publications etc., that may bring growth and prestige to the industry on domestic and foreign markets.
- Create and foster contacts meant to improve and extend cooperation with sister associations, authorities and similar organizations, aimed at supporting all those activities strengthening the industry, including public relations.
- Ensure, in all possible ways, assistance and collaboration to member companies within the scope of the Association.
